About Us

Making a Difference to Maidstone (MADM) is a Christian charity that supports individuals and families who find themselves in crisis through homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, financial need, unemployment, relationship breakdown, and more.

MADM helps them with immediate needs but also helps them explore their full potential so that they can reintegrate into society and lead productive and positive lives, and enhance the communities in which they live!

The work of the Outreach Centre and King's Pantry food bank is funded by charity shop sales, as well from charitable donations and grants.

​MADM works with clients based on referrals made from statutory organisations like Social Services, Probation, housing associations, community wardens, Kent Police, the Council, churches and others.

We can provide practical and emotional support, signposting to further assistance and volunteering opportunities.​

We have wonderful individual supporters and charitable funding that all help us to bless the town, and we couldn't achieve what we do without our dedicated volunteers!
