“Shalom”, signifies “wholeness” or “reaching an inner peace of mind”

Team MADM’s philosophy has been always to provide basic needs and stand for the advocacy of vulnerable communities including (homeless, socially isolated and ex-offenders) and more importantly improve the overall lives of our clients. Shalom, is the sanctuary for our clients to be heard and supported for all their mental well-being.

Shalom Team undergoes the following training

  • Training of Volunteers for program (who have had some form of lived experience of homelessness in UK)

  • Training includes identification of basic mental health issues (anxiety/ depression/stress)

  • Basic primary health well-being sessions – dietary/personal hygiene/ sleep

  • Orientation of various mental health services available with the local GP and NHS hospital

 Boundary awareness to handle new clients in the streets -Kent Police
