It is with regret that we have to announce that our charity bookshop 'The Living Word' is to close at the end of March. It has been open for around 2 and a half years but it is now time to close. It has allowed many people the chance to buy some great books, have amazing conversations, and life changing prayer.Why not visit us before we close and grab your self a bargain

Did you know we have a pre-loved Christian book shop/café space at our old charity shop site at 49 Church Street? We now have a weekly story time slot with our lovely volunteer Carol who has a heart for reading and activities with your little ones. Most of the time it's a place of peace and tranquillity but on Thursday mornings bring along your children/grandchildren for a treat.

It’s been years since there has been a Christian bookshop in Maidstone but the old MADM charity shop (now moved to 28 High Street) has recently been converted to a space dedicated to pre-loved Christian books, jewellery, gifts and cards. The ream of volunteers who run the shop also offer hot and cold drinks and snacks - and its all for donations to our work in the town.

We are pleased to announce we are Open

Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 10am - 3pm,

Wednesday 10-2pm ,

we’ll stay open if you there to Shop/Chat or share in a Cuppa. Do pop in & see us soon - we have so much in store beyond amazing Books & Bibles .. or check out the space for your own usage

This is also a welcoming space to sit and enjoy refreshments and a chat
