operations manager
This is a fill-time senior management role. Key duties will include, but not be limited to:

Manage and lead department heads.

Support the strategic vision for the charity.

Health & Safety leadership, ensuring compliance within all activities.

Safeguarding leadership, ensuring compliance within all activities.
-
Carry out performance reviews.
-
Promote and monitor staff/volunteer training.
-
Actively contribute to succession planning within the charity.
-
Uphold and promote the ethos and values of the charity.
-
Collate weekly and monthly reporting.
-
Create Operation reports for Founder and Trustees.
-
Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and upheld within the team.
-
Ensure that friendly and respectful customer service is upheld within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:

High level leadership in previous roles.

Sound Data protection and Safeguarding knowledge and promotion.

Good Health and Safety knowledge and promotion.
-
Ability to clearly communicate at all levels.
-
Ability to strategically lead a growing organisation.
-
Ability to lead by example and motivate your team.
-
Exceptional organisational skills and eye for detail.
-
Self-motivated, ability to make decisions and use own initiative, whilst working within a team.

Numeracy and computer skills (Microsoft Office) essential.
Desirable Skills and Experience:

Change management experience an advantage.

Good understanding of Human Resources desirable.

Salary range £25 - £35k depending on experience.
