Some Christmas cheer for the homeless

On Christmas Day, Hungry Hearts charity provided food and drink for the homeless of Maidstone. Santa (AKA Andy Pike, below left) and his team made many people happy.

Bob Singh and his family cooked approximately 60 meals, and was assisted by an

Outreach worker from Kenward Trust. Tony Cooper and Debbie Cooper from the ‘Bus Shelter Community Hub Sittingbourne’ also helped out.

MADM operations Manager Rob Foley (below right) also helped out on the day.

After people had their food, Rob presented them with some gifts of toiletries, underwear etc. Through our Outreach programme, we were blessed to receive some wonderful donations that we could pass on.
